I found a new gem in Poole's Mill Park near Cumming, GA. That is where I met Karen, Jeff, and little Holden for their session. The park contains a covered bridge, creek, and waterfalls along with picnic areas and a playground (I'm super excited to go back this summer and play on the sliding rocks!). The lighting was perfect and I had a great time discovering all we had in common. Jeff and Karen are fellow musicians and Jeff even marched in Spirit of Atlanta Drum Corps. Spirit is very close in our hearts as my mom was a charter member in 1977 and met my dad there in 1978. My brother, sister, and I marched there 20+ years later. My husband and I met in Spirit in 2000, and the rest is history!

Just 2 days older than Blair, Holden melted my heart with those wide blue eyes and sweet contagious grin. I LOVE this age!
Holden was AMAZED by his mommy playing his Great Grandmother's trumpet. He did a little happy dance after each note!
