Rawlins Family

Photographing the photographer is always a scary big job, but this family made it easy for me! Dad, Paul, is an awesome wedding photographer (including my sweet wedding!), but found himself in need of some photos of his growing family! Enjoy our fun at the park!

How beautiful is this mama?!? I couldn't help complimenting her glow and perfect jawline!

A Growing Family

It simply doesn't seem possible that I was photographing this sweet couple's maternity and newborn sessions a whole THREE years ago! Now they're all set to welcome another member to their sweet family and we met up at Piedmont Park to document this exciting time!

Matthew and penguin were giving me "the look" :)

Holden, the Big Brother!

I have been granted the privilege of watching Holden grow up through my lens. Soon, not only will he be celebrating his 4th birthday, but he will also be entering the big brother role! This growing family is so special to me and I am so happy I was able to spend a morning learning all about monsters and super heroes!

Of course your head is a drum, duh!

This boy is a BALL OF ENERGY!!

We found this super cool community chalk wall and Holden added his airplane and monster truck to the artwork!

And his rockstar mama didn't hesitate to join his doodling on the ground - oh, and did I mention she's 9 months pregnant!! Love this girl!

I am so excited to meet your next little ball of energy! Thank you so much for a great morning and take care in these next few weeks!

Bailey & Jeff - Expecting!

There is no greater compliment than to be allowed to photograph a family as it grows. I first met Bailey and Jeff about 4 years ago as newlyweds. Now they are ready to expand their family and add even more adventure to their journey. I can't wait to meet the little guy in just a few short weeks!

Gorgeous girl in gorgeous light in a gorgeous setting - it doesn't get much better than that for a photographer! I was forced to stop only when we all got hungry for dinner! Good luck in these next few weeks - you guys are going to be such loving parents!!

Katie {Maternity}

ANOTHER NEW BABY IN THE FAMILY!! My cousins, Stephen and Katie, are expecting their second little girl any day now! But first, I met up with Katie and super-cutie, Lindy, for some baby bump photos! We missed dad, Stephen, but somebody has to work while the ladies have fun! Enjoy Katie's ADORABLE belly!

Katie is a FANTASTIC mom, and it really shows in her spunky little girl! Lindy is smart, curious, outgoing, and loving and Katie seems to be right where she was designed to be when she's with Lindy!

Sure, Lindy, you want to be tossed around and flipped upside down? No problem for this athletic dancing mom!

Lindy and baby #2 (I know her name, but I'm not sure I can share just yet! Nice to have inside info!) are some lucky girls! I'm sending you lots of good wishes for a safe and healthy delivery. There's a pretty big welcoming party ready and waiting to meet the newest little family member!

And just because there will be lots of family reading this post, here are a few behind the scenes shots with my two little assistants during some of my recent cousin photos sessions!

If that doesn't give you the warm-fuzzies, then you should see a doctor!! I LOVE that this is my life!

My BFF's sister is going to be a mommy soon!! I've been hanging with this family for many many years now and I'm so excited to see it growing! Ryan and Jesse are expecting a baby girl in just a few weeks. Now, keep scrolling to see just how beautiful an expecting mommy can be!

Everything was so beautiful at Black Shoals Park in Conyers and this photo just embodies it all - cool morning temperature, nice breeze, clear sky, and of course, a rockin' mama model!

There's not much in my world more exciting than a baby bump. The miracle that is a woman's body, the blind love for the unseen child by the parents, the questions of how labor will go and what the baby will look like, the preparing of tiny clothes and soothing nurseries - it's a very special mark on a couple's timeline.

After a bit of rescheduling due to rain, I met up with the beautiful Ashley and proud daddy-to-be, Jeff, for a perfect sunset session. Enjoy!

Perfect weather. Perfect light. Perfect belly. Perfect couple.

Sounds like a recipe for an awesome maternity shoot! Cori & Phil decided to take one last relaxing weekend getaway trip to Reynold's Plantation before their sweet baby girl arrives in a few weeks. The calm lake, towering pine forests, and golden light provided a great backdrop. Enjoy this fun and musical couple!

Cori and Phil are both serious musicians (something dear to my heart, as you might know!) and played an impromptu concert while I got set up. Little Ava is one lucky girl with these two as parents!
