You guys, I can't even with this next session. I first met this gorgeous girl during a family session a few years back. She had such an outgoing personality, sweet spirit, and piercing eyes, so naturally, I reminded her that I would love to get her in front of my lens again when she was a senior. Well, the years flew by, bringing with them challenges and changes, but I could not be more proud to reintroduce this amazing young lady as she prepares to graduate and make her way in this world. :) I know a little about her journey, especially over the last year and I hope these photos will forever remind her that her feet can carry her anywhere she wants to go, regardless of the shoes they're in! I really don't know how to begin to thank you for allowing me to be a part of such a special season and moment in your lives. I am SO touched to have held a place in your memory during life's challenges, and forever grateful for the validation you've given to my long-held belief that every person matters and every kindness matters. I am so proud of you and so excited to see the next leg of your journey - congratulations to your whole family!

It's always a good time for a family photo update session! This one is especially important as the oldest son is soon to set off for college! Enjoy this sweet family and our adventures in Acworth! Y'all are just the cutest! Thank you for all you do and for your lasting friendship. P, good luck on your next adventure - you'll do great!
So young, so beautiful, so talented, and so cool! Haley is a proud senior at Mill Creek and I had the joy of spending some time with her in the great beauty of fall recently. As a fellow musician, we enjoyed chatting about all things band-nerd (except I could have only HOPED to be as cool as Haley in my banding days)! Enjoy this charming young lady! Thanks so much for hanging out with me, Haley! (You're mom is pretty awesome too, btw!) :)
I recently had the pleasure of hanging out with these 6 young men for some senior photos. I stumbled upon the idea of photographing groups of friends and I haven't looked back! These guys had a great time together and I loved watching them interact. Enjoy these handsome and polite seniors! Let's don't forget the awesome mothers behind these growing boys! Thank you guys (and your awesome parents!) for a great afternoon! Have a wonderful senior year and best of luck to all of you! It was a pleasure to meet you all :)
I recently had the pleasure of hiking through downtown Acworth with the most respectful, friendly, and handsome group of guys! Meet these nine sweet and talented boys! Much fun was had along the way! I turned around to find that they had set this next shot up all on their own :) Thanks for a super fun afternoon guys (and your amazing parents!). We survived the heat and had a ton of laughs. You are truly a special group and I can't wait to see what comes next for each of you! ps - for anyone considering a senior portrait session, going in with friends is a fantastic way to be sure you enjoy it! Thanks for the great idea, Stephanie!
A few years ago I had the pleasure of meeting two great teenagers while doing a surprise session for their dad. Now little sister, Abby, is a senior in high school and I was lucky enough to be able to capture her in all her beauty and talent! Abby is a star on the Hillgrove softball team, even earning a softball scholarship to Florida State!! I asked her if she thinks she will miss home when she leaves for FSU, and she responded with a resounding "NOPE!" before I could even finish the sentence! This girl is ready for her next adventure! A gorgeous girl in lace and cowboy boots in a field of tall grass with beautiful light...how could I NOT request a girlish spin?! Congratulations on all your accomplishments, Abby! It was great to spend a morning with you and I'm so excited for the next big step in your life!
Young and beautiful: two words to describe a rising senior I had the privilege of meeting recently. Some other adjectives are sweet, responsible, well-spoken, talented, and driven. Bridgette (and her mom) we wonderful to work with and we had an awesome morning in downtown Acworth. Bridgette was determined to go to the college of her dreams, and so years ago, she began contacting the softball coach there. Her perseverance and hard work paid off and next year she'll be attending on a softball scholarship! You go girl! I didn't learn of Bridgette's extreme fear of snakes until after I asked her to walk through this overgrown field! She went to a happy place in her head and rocked it! We owe a huge thank you to designer Kristina of Something Tulle for the use of her beautiful bridal studio in Acworth! Best of luck to you Bridgette! I know your parents are so proud of you, and for good reason! I will continue to work with my own two little girls in the hopes that they can grow to be as well-rounded, polite, and charming as you!
