Simply put, I love my job!
As I'm lucky enough to be able to stay home with my two little girls, I don't often need to wake up before the sun (I know, I'm spoiled...). But the opportunity to meet an awesome family at an awesome park in Roswell at sunrise provided an awesome excuse to be an early riser for the day. During our session we saw, felt, and even smelled the day starting beautifully. The cool damp air, the fog in the fields, and the birds chirping happily made for quite the ambience! Ok, ok, enough about the sunrise; now for the best part - my partners in welcoming the sun! Meet super cutie, Nathan! It was wonderful to meet your sweet family and to be able to enjoy the start of a fantastic day with you!

Meghan and James had a beautiful Sunday evening wedding at Flint Hill in historic Norcross. The air was crisp, the sky was blue, the bride and groom were anxiously excited, and the guests were beaming with happiness. Here's a peak into their wonderful wedding. After the finishing touches, this bride was ready to SHINE! Now meet the groom :) A self-admitted serious-faced guy, he can't help himself when his best friend gets involved! These guys are starting their marriage on a firm foundation as both sets of parents are still married to each other; a true and rare accomplishment these days! Time for the first look! Those who couldn't attend were able to view the happenings online. I love that!! The ceremony began with beautiful blue skies and an equally beautiful solo by a family friend. This shot of Meghan's mom coming down the aisle shows a fraction of the excitement and happiness she was exuding all day :) James's proud mama! And after some last minute additions to the vows (did I hear houseboat?), Meghan and James became... ...husband and wife!!! Next came party time! Meghan and James had THE SWEETEST first dance prepared. I've already told my husband that someday we'll have a vow renewal and that we'll do a choreographed dance like this one! MUCH fun was had by all! Congratulations Meghan and James! It was an honor to get to know you and to witness the start of your lives together. I wish you all the happiness in the world!
She's here, she's here! Ryan and Jesse's sweet little girl made her arrival just 4 days before I got to meet her last weekend. Meet baby Bayleigh... Ryan and Jesse said that little Bayleigh would move around in the womb when Jesse started talking so that she was on the side closest to him. Daddy's girl from the start! But when Bayleigh was upset, it was mommy's soft voice and pretty face that calmed her down :) Welcome to the world sweet girl!
As is it's habit, time has flown by and baby Eli is already a year old! Since Ally and Eli's Easter photos the little guy has learned some new skills. Most notably, as his mother says, he's now a little weeble wobble! Eli had his boots on and was ready for some walking! Silly big sister! Sweet story time: Ally brought a super thoughtful gift for my daughter, Salem. She had decorated a shoe box and placed a hair tie (with "just a few of my germs on it"), a necklace (for playing princess, of course), and some napkins (incase Salem wanted to have a tea party or a picnic). Just think about a world in which we all made such giving and thoughtful gestures as this 4 year old sweetie pie. Eli loved walking in and playing with the leaves. Still lovin those baby blues :) Eli is a man on a mission!
I'm so lucky to be able to see such great kids grow! Thanks for allowing me to feel like a part of your awesome family! |
