Jordan: "They don't smell like anything!"
I have known wife, Ryan, most of our lives. I'm besties with her sister, Katie. A while back, I got to do a sister shoot with these girls as a gift to their mom. Since then, Ryan has gotten married and wanted some updated family photos. We met at the beautiful Athens Botanical Gardens and the smiles just started pouring out! I thought Jordan and dad, Jessie, were having a sweet moment here... ...until I realized she was putting a bug on him (as indicated by the arrow above)! The nature fun didn't end with the bug! Jordan chased this little guy all around until she caught him! As they were walking away, I asked Jordon to turn and look at me, expecting her to look over her shoulder. She had a much cuter idea! Had to grab a few of this newlywed couple! Next it was time for some fairy photos! Definitely the Curiosity Fairy! Me: "Jordan can you lean down to smell those flowers?" Jordan: "They don't smell like anything!" Ryan made the tutu and embellished the top for this super cute outfit! This sweet girl was FULL of smiles and loved exploring the gardens :) Thanks for a great morning guys!

I love a morning spent with a great friend and her family! That's exactly what I had last weekend when I met up with Christen and her crew at the Dunwoody Nature Center. I last photographed them over a year ago and I love seeing how much the girls have grown. We started with a sister squeeze and "the look" from the younger one! If you haven't noticed yet, I love photos of hands and feet. As I squatted down to take a few of this family's feet, the girls decided to join me! We found this awesome looking caterpillar and teacher Christen was prepared with a lesson about animals' ability to look bright and scary to defend themselves. The girls took in every word! Girls ready to conquer the world! Silly face time! Proof that a pair can keep their identity as a couple even after creating a family! Big sister showing off her new freckles! Ok, Ok, I get it - you're done! Christen also makes super cute hairbows, including these. If you're interested in seeing her collection for sale, let me know and I'll get you in touch with her :) It was so great to see you guys again and I'm looking forward to getting together soon so our gaggle of girls can play together!
Ssshhhh, its a surprise! Mom, Linda, scheduled a session for her two teenage kids with the intention of surprising their dad with updated photos for his birthday. They all assured me that he wouldn't see this blog prior to the big reveal, so you all get to be in on the secret too! Meet the good-looking, talented, athletic, respectful, easy-going siblings, Zack and Abby. Abby rushed to the shoot right after softball practice - wish I looked that good after running around in August weather for a few hours! Zach, the golfer, is a senior and has his sights on my husband's alma mater, Berry, among other colleges. Thanks again for the opportunity to bring a smile to your dad's face! I really enjoyed meeting you guys and I hope your dad has a wonderful birthday!
