To add even more love, the girls' grandparents, Congressman and Mrs. Phil Gingrey, joined us. The girls were so happy to see them!
Or triple or quadruple the love! This mom, dad, twin sisters, and doggie have enough love to share! We met up at Marietta Square to capture some of that happiness. Meet Baby A and Baby M! Baby A was happy with her monkey lovey and yummy fingers while Baby M was doing a happy dance after feeling the grass :) Check out this hot mama!! Thanks for bringing the whole family out for a fun afternoon!

Barely 6lbs, sweet little Amelia made her debut just 9 days before I had the pleasure of meeting her. She was an angel for her first photos and mom and dad are bursting with pride and adoration for her! I roamed the house during Amelia's lunch break and found all the exciting things that come with not knowing your baby's gender prior to birth. I remember how excited I was to see pink balloons on my mailbox after 9 months of guessing! After her lunch, Amelia was bright-eyed and ready to socialize :) After some snuggles from mommy, she was ready for another nap Congratulations on creating your sweet family! I loved meeting all of you and I'm so appreciative of your willingness to share her with me for a few hours! She's just a doll :)
Humble brag alert! I don't often have a reason to be outside early in the morning. My kids sleep until 8:30ish, and the most exposure to the early morning world we get is our trip from the house to the car to begin our errands. That's why I was truly struck by the beauty and tranquility of a nearby park in the early hours last weekend. The air was cool, the grass damp, the birds chirping; the sunlight was warm and creating beautiful sunbeams through the trees. The morning only got better when the Beck family joined me for a fun family session. I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing these guys last fall, and couldn't wait to catch up and see how the boys had grown! First, meet big brother: sweet, silly, energetic, basketball fan :) Next is little brother: smiling, giggling, up-for-anything, curious Mom was never far away, encouraging and protecting her loves, while Dad wore the hats of basketball announcer, swing pusher, and silly face maker These brothers are so sweet together! Thanks for getting me out in the beauty of the morning and thanks for sharing your smiling family!
My ever growing extended family is at it again! I'm so happy to be able to introduce you to the newest addition, baby Elisa! At just 12 days old, she didn't quite weigh 7lbs but was one of the strongest and most alert babies I've worked with! I have never shot a baby that actually LOOKED at the camera! She would hear the clicking, then turn her head. Her little eyebrows would lift slightly when she started to focus on the source of the noise! She is also wins the prize for the most smiles! She has extra sweet dreams! The constant adoration of two new parents in love with their creation... My cousins are a very artistic couple - they painted this wall mural themselves (you should see some of mom, Aubrie's, carved pumpkins at halloween!). They carried the hot air balloon theme throughout the room. Our Grandaddy flew hot air balloons and he would have been so proud to see his influence in his great granddaughter's room. Elisa's dad, Will, had to create the design for the lego balloon online and ordered customized lego people for the basket. So cute! Congratulations Will and Aubrie! Your little Elisa is an angel and you guys will do great by her. I can't wait to see her again at the next family gathering!
I've had the pleasure of photographing Wylie for a whole year! I'm so grateful for the lifelong relationship I've held with his mom and Grandparents. Wylie's grandmother (BB) and my mom grew up together and so her daughter, Jessie, and I had many playdates as kids while our moms gossiped and laughed. Now the third generation gets to do the same as Jessie and I exchange stories of our little ones :) Here's a little reminder of Wylie's first shoot Here he is at 6 months Getting mobile at 9 months Now it's time for the cake-smashing 1st birthday party! Jessie worked hard on this Cute As A Button bash..she's so creative! Wylie was not interested in props today! He is a busy little boy on the move! But that didn't stop the party guests from stealing some Wylie love! Not that joke again Dad! My girls had a great time too! Do they look like sisters or what?!? Even willing to share! That's the face of a mom head-over-heels for her baby (with icing on her nose!) Thanks again, Grammie, Jeff, Debbie, Jessie, Josh, Wylie, and everyone else for letting me be a part of this sweet day!
You might remember my nephew Ryan from his newborn session in October. He's now 6 months old and his parents were ready for some new family photos, so we met at Sims Lake Park in Suwanee. Ryan didn't let the stormy weather forecast get him down and I had a great time capturing all the sweet interactions between my "little" brother and his family. Enjoy the Wrights!
Having just made the announcement, lovebirds Casey and Christy were beaming with the news of their baby-to-be when my little Blair was born. Now, what seems like a few short months later, baby Chloe is here and perfect! This is another family connected to me through music as Casey and I marched in CorpsVets Drum and Bugle Corps together. Though our lives have evolved from the days of horn arc, Rockmart, bus rides, and parties, friendships stay the same and we picked up right where we left off. I've enjoyed getting to know Christy and I'm looking forward to the days when our girls can play together on a humid night to the sound of brass! I'm honored that I got to snuggle with sweet Chloe at just 9 days old. Enjoy! We started with a wrap made by yours truly with the help of some Kool-aid...maybe another blog post in my future :) Then it was time to eat and daddy took the opportunity to soak in some baby love! Meanwhile, I took the opportunity to explore the perfect home they've worked to create for her. With a full belly of mommy's milk, Chloe was ready to get back to work I have a thing for hands and feet anyway, but I melt for baby fingers and toes! The Easter Bunny delivered a special egg this year :) Bunny hat and diaper cover handmade by Kristy from Willow's Garden. I loved working with her and can't wait to get some more goodies! Casey has been bursting with pride since the moment he found that he was going to be a dad. During the whole shoot, he was comforting Chloe, changing diapers, cleaning bottles, and - best of all - letting mom rest! Chloe is one lucky girl... I did a double take when I saw this blanket made for Christy by her grandmother... ...this is Salem at 4 weeks old with a blanket made for my husband by his grandmother Love those sweetly-dreamin' grins Yes, I know what you're thinking: this glowing bright-eyed beauty CAN'T be a brand new mom. Isn't she amazing!? Congratulations guys! Chloe is just a doll and I can't wait to see her grow (and to see which instrument she plays)!
This little guy is growing up so fast! Wylie is 9 months old and really showing his loving, funny personality. He is very curious, even sampling the grass once! He's just a few months older than my Blair, and it's hard to imagine that she'll be crawling and pulling up so soon. Wylie is a charmer and I love having him in front of my lens! This truck belonged to Wylie's great grandaddy He's all tuckered out! I enjoyed being able to spend some time with Wylie and his family and I'm super excited about his 1st birthday party in a few months. Time flies!
